Project #1: Inspiring Road Scenery

Choose from the ideas below and submit up to 3 video clips for each idea.

• Requirements:

  • Original work, 100% plagiarism-free
  • EXIF metadata for location and date must be included in the video
  • Well-edited upon submission
  • Clips between 10 and 30 seconds preferred
  • Time-lapse videos accepted
  • Inspiring, breathtaking, powerful, opinionated
  • Trucking-related or applies to truck drivers
  • Low-resolution clips acceptable for initial submission
  • 4K resolution in landscape mode required if we use your clip

• Notes:

  • Accepting submissions through June 10, 2022
  • Pays $30 per video clip if accepted
  • Submissions accepted from all levels of videographer
  • Not all videos will be accepted
  • Maximum of three videos per idea below

Idea #1: Inspiring Scenery

Get some video clips of inspiring scenery for truck drivers. Ideas:

• Two-lane road going off into the distance as a truck disappears from view
• Sunrise/sunset scene with a profile of a truck
• Trucks rolling through the mountains
• Idyllic truck scenes
• Desert scenes
• Trucks with interesting or unexpected backgrounds
• Long-haul road time-lapse

Idea #2: Big Weather

Get some incredible video clips of big weather involving trucks. Ideas:

• Thunderstorms and thunderheads
• Tornado
• Sideways rain
• Big thunderheads
• Blizzard conditions

Idea #3: Classic Rigs On The Highway

Get some video clips of classic trucks that are still out there making it happen. Ideas:

• Long-nose classics
• Cabovers still in action
• Pre-1990 big rigs
• Petroliana, or vintage gas related ads, pumps, items
