Hi all - I've completed enough training hours that I could test for my CDL-B, and I feel pretty confident that I could pass the test. However the truck owner / trainer might not let me use the vehicle he lets other students test on because I made a couple beginner mistakes that I'm confident I won't make again. Once I Got Out To Look and forgot to put the air brake on which I know is very dangerous, it slipped my mind as I was just practicing in a flat empty lot but now I'm careful to do it every time. And a couple more minor things. If I have completed the required number of training hours, I'm wondering if there are other ways I could find to move forward with testing even if I can't use the vehicle I trained on...

CDL-B Testing Options
Hi Anne a very belated thank you for telling me about the renting for test option! I am in Vermont. I did wind up being able to use the vehicle I trained on to test and I have my Class B now. It's really good to know about this site and all the info people have taken the time to gather here. ✌
