Would experience as a school bus driver be relevant for a Waste Management garbage truck driver?

My ideal career I'm looking for is as a garbage truck driver for waste management or another waste disposal company, and I have applied for many different positions, but they all say they want someone with at least a year of driving experience. I've been approved as a school bus driver for my area and I am wondering if that would be relevant experience they are looking for?

Also, hello everyone, I am new to these forums and this is my first post. Sorry I wasn't sure if these forums are for CDL-B jobs or not.
