Dad won’t let me start a career in trucking

Hello, i need an advice, im a cdl class 1a holder here in canada, im wanting to start my driving career but my dad won’t let me, he said its hard and i dont have experience, he too is a class 1a holder have like 1 yr. experience in a resume but right now he’s just driving a school bus part time (4 days) Mon-Thursday and his regular job at Degelman industries (machinist) he insist that he wants to teach me, and im thinking he doesn’t have winter experience and he doesn’t have mountain experience and i wanna do it on my own, also we’re building a garage shop in our small land property and he said that were gunna fix up the 2 trucks he bought and, i dont know when is that gunna finish, im 25 tuening 26 on november and im worried about this autonomus trucks that are gunna take over the otr jobs, and i might not get a chance to be able to travel in canada and there down the US.. im just patiently waiting .. i dont have experience but looking at companies that are hiring drivers that is willing to train.. just wanna ask for advice, only if canada has big companies that has company sponsored cdl training or cdl a refresher course but only Bison transport has training and but you need to be fresh out of school..
