Put flashlight on trailer tandems?

Can I legally rig up a flashlight that shines on my tandems at night so I can see when to turn? Holy crap I always run outta room and i gotta make people back up and then they get mad and stuff.

I do fine in the day but when that sun goes down it's a nightmare :(

And then theres the miles and miles of the Jersey walls of death and theres no room at all. Luckily I discovered that the side marker light reflects just enough to see the tandems but when I'm at a dark intersection i cant see ****.

Holy crap how do yall do it what am I missing? It's all i can do to keep up a legal speed in these construction zones. Everyone else is blasting by at mach 3 and I feel like I'm holding on for dear life because the tractor catches every little rut in the road.

Texas is the worst :(

I35E ramps closed!!!!!

If any of yall are trying to get to 35E towards texarkana from Dallas the exits, entrance ramps, and some service roads are closed.

It was a nightmare and I dont have any idea what I did to get on the road because my trainer just told me to turn here and there and stuff...

Kinda a heads up/ question post..

I just downloaded trucker path on my phone. I see that it does indeed show closed roads but does it list low clearance areas??

And omg what a day. I learned a lot tho :D love this site and I really appreciate the support.

Welp... what the hell

So my training is only 14 days long right?

Now after this I gotta pass a backing test (45 degree backing) and then a road test.

It's so stupid. All I do is drive these stupid loads to their stupid places. We never actually get time to practice because I'm literally running my hours down to minutes every day! And the loads are paced stupid fast so it's not like (God forbid get a chance to eat anything)

And the instructor is like "i showed you how to do it".. like wtf. Sure lemme just pull that outta my ass and just do it.

Am I just retarded? And theres so much **** I still dont know.

But I'm supposed to be in my own truck in a few weeks? Is this normal?

This **** is such a joke.

Job be damned.

Good point...

Hes not all bad I should say that

So it's a personality conflict with your trainer.

What if you are allowed to switch to another trainer that is worse (in your greenhorn status)?

Job be damned.

Thank yall both very much.

I had a chance to get some sleep and I've chilled out some. I let him know and I emailed the training coordinator guy about things. I guess I'll hear back Monday. Tried talking to him and all he had to say is that I'm not meant to be a driver. I promptly told him that he has no idea how bad I want this and that I'll be laughing at his ass when I retire.

I have thankfully already tested and passed the CDL test through the CRE school. What I dont know is if they will send my test scores up to VA after I pass this nightmare or not?

I dunno I'll just be glad to get to SLC and figure out getting another trainer.

Job be damned.

I'm completely demoralized, depressed and I'm probably gonna cuss my trainer out tomorrow and who knows maybe ill get fired. I can't deal with this guy hes the biggest ******* I've ever met in my life!!!

I took a wrong turn today and got called a "your just a steering wheel holder this might not be in your blood". Its **** like that all day every day.

The other guy left a week ago. Abandoned load and literally got off the truck he said **** all this.

What ****es me off the most is that the other guy point blank asked him why hes such an ******* and his answer was "I served too long in the military".

I served 6 ****ing god damn years to include a year in combat. I refuse to listen to anyone that uses military service as an excuse for being a complete and total *******!

So if CR England fires me I'll be looking for a job. I live in VA. I'm going to say a prayer tonight that someone hires me if I get fired.

I will never quit. I will never give up. Their gonna be the ones to make me leave.

I emailed the training dept asking for another trainer. So I'm either fired or I'm not. I'll know more later.

So am I hired?

Well it wouldn't suck if the trainer wasn't just a straight up *******. And I don't think it's too much to ask to know if I'm hired yet. They said I was then I got told I wasn't till I finish training.

I gotta deal with this guy for three weeks. I in no way mind that hes a hard ass and I actually like that but it's no excuse to be a total and absolutely ****ty to deal with individual. Already feels like I'm in prison. I LOVE the driving btw and I want and need this job seriously badly.

So am I hired?

I sure as hell dont know if I am or not. Cr England is dumb. I am literally counting down the days until my contract is up.

I'm seriously thinking of just taking my CDL and running far far away. They say I'm hired but I'm not really? What kind of bull**** company is this? If they cant be straight up with me now how am I suppose to have any confidence in them? I dunno if I can do 9 months here.

Then again what if I leave now? Before my road training ends? I heard that I'm not liable for my contract if I leave now.. my buddy from class did that yesterday.
