Ran a red light (With a traffic camera in Ontario) is my career over ?

Thank you Bruce K.

Worrying about this is killing me. Do you think I should tell my boss about this ASAP or hope and pray that nothing comes of this ?

Ran a red light (With a traffic camera in Ontario) is my career over ?

I am a local company driver , been driving for 11 months and just recently I ran a red light

Light turned red just before I passed the white line. The light was green, I was not speeding, as I approached the light a car near me started honking for some reason and I checked all my mirrors to find the reason for honking and by the time I looked back the light was yellow and I saw it turn red, I tried to stop but no way I would stop in time and SOMETHING was going wrong behind me so my instinct was to coast threw while honking my horn.

For sure the intersection had a traffic camera. I have never been so scared in my life, I LOVE trucking, now its only a matter of time until my company sees the ticket.

What will happen to me ? If they fire me , will I ever drive a truck again ?
