double-quotes-start.png

p> Did ya get there, Brian??

Start a DIARY!

We 'love these!' here at TT. Hope all is great; I know you're just into your 1st week. A lot of 'chit chat' about SNI on here, lately.

Keep us'n's in the loop, thanks!

~ Anne ~

Everything s going good so far. I'll try a start a review this weekend when I get some time.

Thanks.

Schneider does pay you while you’re in training and they have a training facility in Wilmer, TX, I start there on the 29th.

Any luck for trucking in middle Ga?

My best driving buddy is from Savanna. He signed on with Schneider 4 years ago on a dedicated Georgia Pacific account. Home every weekend and has done very, very well. He had to come to Green Bay for training, but Schneider covered his expenses.

Schneider also has a training center in Charlotte, NC. If you want to be closer to home. Paid training, pay you while your at training, and guaranteed minimum pay for you fist 3 months solo so you can focus on getting used to driving and not worrying about your miles.

Is there hope for my Trucking career?

I have a possession charge from the early 2000’s and nothin since. Schneider didn’t even blink and gave me an offer.

I don’t know how the reporting works with the Medical cards, since you already admitted to failing a test. You may want to call them anonymously and ask about your situation before applying.

I also had a Schneider recruiter tell me not to volunteer any information not asked about.

Good luck.

Have any of you had equipment not returned by someone you no longer work with?

Don’t think of it as theft, think of it as failure to return property. Kind of like when you cancel your cable subscription but don’t return your cable box, they don’t call the cops on you, they send you letter after letter and then they sell it off to a collection agency and they harass you for awhile. of course the value difference there’s much more for your equipment and may even fall under felony theft. But the concept is the same.

Your best option would probably be to contact a lawyer and see if you can get a free consultation.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer or affiliated with any law firm. I just binge watch a lot of Law and Order.

Having difficulty starting a driving career. Need advice please

Brian:

Are you following up with THOSE guys, then?? Who'd YOU decide on. . . or did I miss it elsewhere?!?!

~ Anne ~

Thanks for asking Anne, Yes I have followed up with them and I’ve decided on Schneider. All three companies have excellent training programs and seem to take good care of their drivers. I have my pre-employment drug screen on Monday and should be in training by the middle of November.

Over the last few months I’ve talked to recruiters from Roehl, Prime, and Schneider and they were very professional and on top of their game.

CPAP 90 days?

“It sucks about the shortage. It has to do with a major recall.”

Unfortunately it’s not just the recall, according to the local sleep center there’s also a shortage on parts and only one manufacturer currently producing any.
