I’m with you I’ve been driving 20 + years but Mostly in Ireland my Home Country and have travelled a Lot of Europe would give the USA a go but at 46 I’m probably past the OTR life .

There is a big shortage Around the Globe in most western Countries , many young people want a life these Days and don’t want to go into Trucking , but the Large salaries especially in North America are tempting .

Irish trucker here wondering is the Grass any greener as a Long haul driver , I’ve traveled in the states all over and also have worked for a Long haul driver in Western Canada back in 2015 , I’m guessing a big demands for OTR drivers anyone made the Move over the Pond .
