Anyone have experience/knowledge of CDL training at Isothermal Community College, Spindale,NC?

This school is accredited by by PTDI, and looks like a good deal dollar-wise. Less than $2,000.00 8.5 weeks of school. Would have to move there. Anyone have any info?

Truckschoolusa gives a good write-up. Is that a good site?

4yrs no work history. No hire advice?

Called recruiter today they said need 18-24 month work in last 3yrs D.O.T regs. I dont have any in 4 yrs not a potato on unemployment either. I want to drive a semi. Do i need 2yrs b.s work? Driving history goes back 10yrs I still have class B and 3 endorsements no restrictions clean record forever. Can i call D.O.T and get exemption? Will it matter? I am devastated!!! What should i do?

Is this true about DOT requiring 18-24 work in last three years? I too have not worked in four years.
