What did you do before becoming a truck driver?
Long time reader, first time posting...
I've read through most of this thread in the past few days. Crazy to hear what everyone has done in the past. I just put in my resignation letter today after 9.5 years teaching middle school math. My last day in the classroom will be Dec 22. I start the GYCDL program at Roehl up in Gary on January 3rd. Super excited for this next chapter and all the huge changes to come. I plan to be on the national flatbed fleet once I finish my training.

GYCDL Training
I went through Roehl Transport’s GYCDL program starting the day after Christmas. It’s been great so far. I’m in phase 2 with my driver trainer right now. We launch out tomorrow morning for day 12 of 19. If you want to follow along I started a new Instagram @mrdizlonghaul
It’s been a lot of fun so far.
