Should I do truck lease in 2025?
Maybe rates go up and better pay and make leasing great again?

Lease or company? Where to make more money?
Are these things like to do for lease?
Keep receipts that I pay for taxes.
Load board myself to get the dispatcher to use that.
Find my own fuel discounts.
Get my own health insurance

Lease or company? Where to make more money?
I'm thinking of going to nova lines to lease for quick money to work a year or two.
I have 14 months in with my cdl.
Is it worth it? I seen paycheck of a guy making $2000 - $4000 a week. He gets that after cost of truck and diesel.
That's still more than I get as company driver at .64 cpm

New CDL A license looking at truck companies
I was looking at truck companies. I got my license through a truck company in their training. They pay for their school if I stay for one year, or I pay it if I leave.
If I leave for another company, do I need to ask for a school certificate or anything to prove I had training and time on the road?
Are there companies that pay .60-.70 cpm for 3-6 months of driving?
I want to do heavy oversized loads. How do I get into that? I'm driving for spread axle flatbed now, but looking to change companies for better pay and other reasons to get more experience time

Advice Needed for CDL Training and Choosing the Right Company!!
Decide type of loads you want and the trailer...
Dry van, reefer, tanker, flatbed, stepdeck...
Find a company that has that you can start with no experience.
Search how many trucks they have, search their dot number on fmcsa for their csa and safety to see how they're doing, their safety, wrecks, trucks.
Search company on maps and reviews and where they are located and if close enough you want to go home every weekend or few weeks.
Find company reviews here or apps like driver pulse and ask other driver questions.
Do they have trucks you want? Do they pay good? 50cpm isn't bad to start.
Are their driver facing cameras? Doing things illegal, against company rules, will be used against you and can ruin your job if company decides it goes on your csa.
See what the average weekly pay is.
Decide if you want to still have a life that means anything, sad, alone, away, homeless over the road.
If you don't like a company, get some time in 6-12 months, find a better one.
It's what you make it to be
