I see Roehl flat-beds at a lot of the places I go. In fact I parked right next to one last night in Dayton, Ohio.

Maybe we will run across each other some day.

Hang in there - the training can be trying, but the career is definitely worth the commitment that will move you on into your own solo truck one day. Then, of course, it seems like you've stepped into a whole new arena of training.

I like the way Roehl handles their new drivers. You should be able to do real well with them.

After a lot of reading talking to a lot of people I just signed on with Roehl head out the 26th start there GYCDL and Honor program the 27th. Want to say thank you to all of you that answered all my questions and took the time to talk to me.

Does anyone know if Roehl Transport trains with a standard so you do not have the restriction on your license in the flatbed? Thanks

Your correct let me rephrase that I know anyone who can get company sponsored training is Fortunate but what mean is some training is better and some hurry it from what i have been reading I would just like to make sure where ever I get it will be good and never have driven one hard to tell if it is good are not I see a lot of thing about swift not sure whats going on there but are they a good place to start? central refrigeration?

Well it seem that every and anyone does not come into my area at this time besides swift and 1 other not really sure about there training if new drivers anyone know if they do train there drivers good try and keep you on? Or are they one of those puppy mill outfits I hear about just really want to get on to the right start any info really appreciate

I have a clean driving record for over 10 years have passport but had a dui over 10 years ago does this keep me from being able to drive into Canada?

And using terms such as "the air conditioning unit was not working" is not giving an accurate description. Lousy journalism. Air conditioning would imply normally safe for people. This must have been a reefer..a refrigeration unit. What if it went the other way and they all froze to death?

Our press has gone to hell. Every news story is slanted. There is no unbiased journalism anymore. No one truly reports news, they give commentary and opinion.

I wonder if people would have seen it differently if there was some sort of porta pot on board and water with climate control. Had they gotten caught but all were well and given provisions would the ACLU come out and support the trucker with a "he was just trying to help.them get a better life".

Go check out the truckers in england who have to chase the illegals from hanging onto the truck and get fined even if they don't know they are there.

Here I'll comment. They should have stayed home. They should have stayed home and to escape a poor economy should have applied to come to the US the right way.

I blame the government who encourages this mass migration by illegal aliens. Both on the Mexican side and the American side. Many die in the desert without us even knowing about them. We get ten that die in a trailer and we're supposed to feel badly. I feel badly that they were sold a bill of goods that coming to the US was without the possibility of harm.
