Maverick Transportation

Hello everybody!!!! My name is Jasmine!!! I just got my class A CDL Oct 13th 2022. I just wanted to update my process with maverick transportation in case anyone was looking into going with them. Some of the topics on maverick are from years ago. So basically the application process...yes you may have heard is strenuous! It is now the 3rd week of my application process and I finally got a call back saying I'm approved to go to headquarters! As of now I'm waiting on the person who handles the bus tickets to call me for my departure date and time. I still have to get through a hair and urine drug test. Another DOT physical even though mines is up to date until end of 2023. (I guess I have to go through Mavericks medical team for that), also have to do an agility test annnnnnd pass a tarp class! I'm honestly very excited! If I can be of help to anyone feel free to comment below. I also will be making a Tik Tok of my application and orientation journey. For now I just want to focus on getting the job. Thanks everyone! I'll be back here for an update!

Cdl Training Company

If you don't mind flat bed I would go with Maverick Transport. I am in my last 3 weeks of CDL school at a community college and that's who I am going with. Always heard good things about them.

Mega Carriers mentor training just not working for me looking for small fleet owners

Yeah I went through Prime Inc schooling program back in 2014. I hated it. There wasn't enough trainers that didn't mind a female on their truck. I didn't really learn anything with the trainer that I got. However, I was glad to get my feet wet. With Prime I could only shift up to 3rd gear and always stalled at an intersection. I ended up failing the parallel test the 2nd try. I never tried my 3rd time, I just quit and went home. Now Im currently at a community college in CDL class, I have 3 weeks left and I can basically do everything with my eyes closed in a manual lol. I'm excited and choosing to go with Maverick (sister of TMC)!
