I've not had any problems. I have an 1800 watt inverter. I run a microwave, toaster and coffee pot. I have an Omen gaming laptop that I run off it. Not sure how it would do with my desktop. But I'd recommend going with another gaming laptop for many reasons

I'm not using a laptop anymore. Funny enough I'm using an Omen Desktop I believe I found the problem I believe my Tundra 1500M can't support over 120V and my Power supply is 240V so I'm trying to find a solution to this

Are you sure your voltage switch won’t physically switch between 120/240?

I have no idea where to find a switch if it has it. I was looking at it earlier trying to decide if I can do anything from the computer end to lower voltage useage not having to spend money on a new inverter. I’ve got an HP Omen Obliesk. The psu is listed as “HP OMEN OBELISK 875 750W Power Supply PC Desktop 80+ Platinum PSU Computer“

Gaming and Trucking Question

Hey just a quick question for my fellow drivers who game from time to time like myself. My Gaming Laptop just **** out. Was trying to setup my 750 Watt power supply on my 1500 watt inverter in my truck. Figured it would be cheaper to maintain the desktop in the truck from now on. But when I try to plug it in it trips my switch and puts the inverter into a warning mode that to much power is being pulled. Trying to figure out what inverter I should upgrade to in my truck. O/O so any suggestions is good.

If anyone else has any insight why this may happen because I figured my 1500 Watt inverter should handle it maybe its something else I'm missing. But who knows. I would like to get my TV/Game System back Lol!
