I’m from Alabama so I can’t work there and I don’t believe they have a pods down here.

Awesome thanks everyone and also I’m taking small steps by getting experience before jumping into being owner opp, I still have much research to do before being owner op that way I don’t get stuck.

I did call waste management and the lady did say that they need at least a year worth of commercial driving experience.

I have found a couple that are class B that’ll hire me but I prefer not having to do package delivery’s like cola and dairy.

I feel confident that I can drive a big truck, I used to drive my dads western star dump truck, that’s pretty much when I fell in love with driving really other than the headaches of idiots on the road. But my dream is indeed to be owner op but first just trying to see if there are companies out there that’ll help out with gaining experience.

I’ve driven a tanker truck but it was under the weight requirement so I didn’t need a class B or tankers, it weighed about 25950 pounds.

Really been wondering there would be any place to get some experience over in the Huntsville Alabama area.

I want to get the experience mainly as a dump truck driver because I plan to be a owner operator once I get the funds to do so.
