Quick question for you or anyone else that drives for Walmart: If you are going to just be a local, home every night driver, do you still have to travel to Arkansas or wherever they are having that training these days, or is that only for Regional or long haul guys?

I finally had time to get back on here and catch up. Thank you to everyone for your input and thoughts. The important thing is that I passed my tests first try this past Tuesday and got my CDL A! I took yesterday and today off, and I start riding with an experienced driver at my company tomorrow. Thanks again everyone, I appreciate you taking time out of your busy days/nights to reply.

I am in the final stages of CDL school. I understand the mechanics of making left and right turns, and to be in the outermost turn lane when available. What I need help fully understanding is in the various turn scenarios, what lane do I partially use and what lane do I want the vehicle to end up in? Some simple illustrations on paper would be great if someone has them. Thanks. I have my test with the BMV next week.
