I currently work as a Company Driver for CRE. I had a horrible experience getting through their school and OTJ training program. When I started driving for them the taint of my bad experience in the school stopped me from looking objectively at how they were treating me as a Company Driver. I have to say it has been good. No one has ever talked to me about leasing. I was told in the school that they have went to a policy of only leasing to drivers with 2 or more years of experience. Like everyone else, I would like to earn more and be home more. But they have paid me what they told me they would pay me and they've gotten me home when I'm suppose to be home. They've been understanding about the wrong turns I've made, the 2 times I stopped because of weather and safety is a big concern for them. But the school was hell.
