Hello All, I have a NYS license Class B with school bus and passenger endorsements. I originally got my CDL for a church ministry to drive into the city of Albany, NY to pick up people who were newly immigrated to the USA. We brought them to church service, helped them find housing, jobs, driver training, start their own church, etc. I did this as a ministry for The Lord and not for pay. So this may not be the correct place for me since you all are professionals. I have recently retired from my regular job and was going to let my CDL lapse as the ministry has ended but am now considering working part time. I haven't the slightest idea where to start but I found this forum and decided to say hello. Richard

Hello RealDiehl, Thank you for your response. I am licensed in New York and live in the Albany/Schenectady/Troy area. I have a Class B with school bus and passenger endorsements.
I was considering 10-15 hours per week.

Hello All, I have had my CDL for about 5 years now. I acquired my license for the purpose of volunteering for a church ministry. We drove a school bus into the city to pick up people who were not able to drive themselves. These people were new to the area and were assisted in getting housing, jobs, driver training, starting their own church, etc. However, this ministry has ended. This forum may not be the place for me as you are all professionals. However, I have since retired from my regular job and now considering driving part time. Any suggestions? Thank you, Richard C.

Thank you, Moderator! That is good advice. I will look into the possibility of a relief driver position nearby. Wow your days are long. I will pray for safe travels for you. Richard
