I am a 40 year veteran of the transportation industry.
I've served as Vice President of Maintenance for leading Trucking companies such as Hirschbach Motor Lines, Riverside Transport and Transco. I consult and serve in advisory roles to many of the industry leading technology solution developers in North America.
Notable areas of accomplish include the development of an advanced fuel economy analytics program for PeopleNet branded as the PeopleNet MPG Guarantee Program. Led implementation projects integrating IOT and telematics data between in-cab & Engine ECM data to most major TMS Dispatch systems and other key software solutions found in North America
I was an early advocate and active development & test partner with OEMs such as Navistar, Smart Truck Systems, Michelin, Eaton, and Meritor.

Will truck parking become the next driver recruiting incentive?
I am a 40 year transportation vet. I have seen driver recruiting go through phases of providing incentives that include: sign on bonuses, truck preferences, weatherband / sattelite radio, APUs, refrigerators in the cab, satellite tv. Will provide paid parking be the next incentive? If a fleet offered paid parking would it make you more likely to drive for them? I am a technology developer and we believe brokers and fleets need to take care of drivers and will help with parking.
