New CDL A

Well there's a police report stating the conditions of the road and besides my incident it also shows 11 more accidents in a matter of 5 hours on the same spot plus another car (make it 12), that went straight into a house and obviously snow related. So far they haven't even asked for that report and only one asked for a hearing letter which was Vacated by the board by a "no-at fault". I don't think 12 vehicles were speeding in such conditions.

Were the police involved? If so they should have a report of some kind that states you were not at fault. My current company wouldn't hire me until I showed them a police report stating that I was not at fault for an accident I was involved in. Not really an accident I suppose. I ran over the hood of a car that had flown off a car that wrecked right in front of me. Still it was listed as an accident.

New CDL A

Hi and thank you for your kind words. The issue is the non-at fault accident coming out on my records and I'm reading that could stay for 3 yrs or more. I might keep trying but being rejected twice by the same thing makes me wonder if should I keep applying.

Don’t give up. It’s harder to get hired right now than in the recent past, but not hopeless at all.

New CDL A

Hello all.. a pleasure to be here in share with minds alike.

I Recently graduated from CDL school upgrading from B to A and of course without a job. Applied on two companies and was rejected due to a snow related non-at fault accident coming out on my RMV record. I'd like to know for sure if I can keep applying or just forget about this whole trucking dream and focus on a different career.

Regards.
