James D.'s Bio

I am a recent graduate of Roadmaster driving school. I blew out my bicep in January and was not able to return to work. I qualified for a grant through the state of Arizona for work training through The Arizona @Work Program. My testing indicated that I would be a prime candidate for truck driving so I diligently pursued this goal. I spoke with several recruiters before deciding on a school and chose Roadmaster. I was honest about my convictions( 3 dui's) 1@ 31yrs ago, 1@ 18yrs ago & 1 resulting in dui felony charge, 12 yrs ago. Unfortunately, it took 3 to realize that I am an idiot and needed to change my life. I was told that I could find work as a driver but it would be difficult, and I understood that. However, it has become more of a disappointment than I could ever have imagined. I want to do this. I am not going to give up but I am not sure where to look for my new opportunity to start.

Potential school fraud

I recently completed driver training school with the understanding that I would be able to find a job having 3 DUIs. The recruiter insured that even though he could not guarantee me a job there was a job out there for me. I have been searching everywhere to try to find a job and have met nothing but closed doors. It's my understanding and please someone tell me if this is correct but I should not even be in possession of a CDL with three DUIs? Have I been conned? Do I need to contact a lawyer? I sure could use a straight answer because no one is really giving me one. Can I or can I not possess a CDL with 3 DUIs?
