Growing your fleet with truck rental services

My friend and I are taking over an existing trucking company with clean dot and mc number. We would like to use services such as coop by Ryder which enables users to rent trucks and deliver loads with them. Assuming I have my own driver and I need that truck for a day or two, will I need to have insurance under my own company that is valid for 2 days I need the truck to haul loads using my dot and mc or how will I make sure am fully covered for the two days.
