I have one more concern. I used to be a daily pot smoker but I stopped in april. Either the 7th or the 15th, can't remember. Swift does hair follicle tests. Should I wait until the 90 day mark?
Would I fail if I took the test now?
This is the only roadblock to swift at the moment?
Should I just apply again in a few months when I know for sure I'm clean?
I really need this job and I put immature crap like weed smoking behind me but it might bite me in the butt right now.
Would they accept if I just say I can't do it at the moment, but can in a few months?

Swift got back to me and said the ticket wasn't an issue. Barring any unforeseen circumstances I think I'm good. Not going to get my Hope's up until I passed my permit test and behind the wheel. Thanks for the replies.

Thanks for the replies, if I recall correctly, the cop that stopped me only wrote down 10 mph over the limit. I did only pay the ticket this year.

It was February, 23 2019. Can't really remember how fast I was going over the limit. But I recently bought my driving records and it wasn't on there.

Applying for the cdl training at swift, I have questions
I'm trying to apply for for the cdl training program at swift and I have some questions
I haven't worked since last September, but I've been putting in applications and only getting ignored, is this too long of an employment gap?
I had a speeding ticket in 2019 and paid it off. I've heard dmv removes these on your record after 3 years and 3 months, but swift wants the past 5 years of my driving records, will this ticket still show up?
Does a family history of truck driving count for anything?
I'd appreciate any answers to my questions.
Thanks.
Did you know you can fill out one quick form here on TruckingTruth and apply to several companies at once for paid CDL training? Seriously! The application only takes one minute. You will speak with recruiters today. There is no obligation whatsoever. Learn more and apply here:

Swift cdl training questions
Crap. Ok , back to square one. I'll contact swift Tomorrow and tell them I can't do it now. My application was already approved so that sucks. Hopefully swift will allow me to apply at a later date.
