A bad parking trend at Pilot/Flying J's.

I have found that Petro and TA have the best parking they have loads of spots and many pull through spots for newer drivers. I have found pilots to be some of the worse places to find parking at they are filled up early and lot's are really tight. Loves is another that seems to fill up early not as bad as pilot but still can be hard to get a spot.

Is it a mistake to get my CDL right now?

Roehl pays you while getting your CDL and on phase 2 as a student driver. The pay is like 500 a week while in training CDL school lasts about 3 to 4 weeks than 4-5 days of cargo securement than 21 to 26 days out with a trainer. After that you will go to phase 3 in your own truck that will last min of 4 weeks the pay is .53 a mile for flatbeds. Roehl has some of the best training out there.

Does anybody know how long that incident will hurt me from getting on with another company? Not that I am looking to leave here because everywhere is pretty much the same for new drivers. But after a year or so I might want to get on with somebody that offers more longer hauls than Roehl does.

No worries. I am no longer in the training fleet been sent to the main fleet as a regular driver. I have ran into that same situation that I had that incident and learned from my mistake. I just stop if need be rather than continuing on in a situation. Car drivers do a lot of stupid stuff which can lead to trouble for truck drivers. I have been in 26 states so far mainly Midwest. I like the western part of the USA a lot more. Rains way to much out here for my liking.

My first day was easier than that picked up a relay in Gary drove 166 miles to a Walmart DC dropped a trailer picked up a empty drove 50 miles dropped this empty hooked up to a loaded trailer only have 4000 lbs on it don't have to be at place they unload until 8am the 14th any only have to drive 475 miles. I should have plenty of time to stop early find a place to park and finish up as long as they unload me fairly quick. They have me going out for 37 days on this block which is what I want.
