Worst day of my career

Well , it was north rd and I 65 going south , the warning sign "yellow advisory" was 40mph, I probably went into the curve of the onramp at about 42to 44mph , the load was beer which I picked less than 1 mile away , the load was secured before I left and as I think about it I want to say it was a single double in the nose , the load in retrospect to me must have been loaded high and short as I walk fairly deep into the trailer to secure, anyway , I went into the curve and almost immediately felt the trailer pull me over, It was quick, Iwas pulled over and came alost immediately to a stop but not without the trailer coming open , losing the load and considerable damage to the tractor "total" I can't shake it I've gone over it in my head 1,000 times. So here I am, I've always been a careful driver, always. Funny how life changes in an instant. I too live in Florida, panhandle . Anyways I read the horror stories, My boss knows me to be a good driver and says he'll keep me on but can't pay while we don't have a truck for me to drive

Greg,

Sorry to here that you had a rollover accident. Hopefully you were not injured. Any rollover accident can be a career killer.

How fast were you driving into the onramp? What was your equipment and freight securement? It will be very hard to explain to a potential new employer how this happened and surely their insurance company will be highly sceptical in approving your application.

Good luck in your search and try using the company list here on TT and apply to all companies to see if one of them will give you a chance.

Worst day of my career

So, I've been driving for about 10years and 2 days ago was the wost day of my career. I was hauling a load going onto the onramp and had a rollover. Where do I go from here and is there any chance of continuing in this career? This is my 1st ever accident.
