CDL Physical Vision Test

I lost almost all vision in one eye and was able to have my optomotrist run some tests and fill out a form from fmsca that my examiner gave me at an exam where it was discovered. After taking it back to the examiner and showing I was under medical care by my physician for the diabetes that apparently caused it, as well as the optomotrist I was given a 1 year med card. I don't know if this helps at all, but thought it may. Good luck and God bless you and yours.

Cascadia remote king pin release valve $$$$

Hello all you drivers out there making the world go round. Unfortunately, I had a catastrophic health problem come up and only 2 years into owning my truck with only 5 years on my license. So I never really made it out of greenhorn status as an OTR driver, and now I'm needing to sell my truck. My problem is when I went out to start it a few days ago it had air leaking behind the dash so after investigating it turns out it is the remote kingpin release valve. It becomes an issue when I look up a replacement valve is between 250 and $300 and I haven't worked in several months due to the health issue I was talking about. I have search time low for a kit of o-rings and seals to fix the ones that are obviously bad, but it doesn't appear one is available and none of the o-rings in my large collection of metric, SAE, AC, and miscellaneous will fit correctly and stop the leaking. The valve is a SAFholland xb-11744. My question is does anyone know if a HENDRICKSON VS-25224 3-WAY AUTO-RESET VALVE is a suitable replacement as it is much cheaper, I'm just not sure if it works the same and can't afford to try it to find out or doesn't. I'm pretty long-winded, so thank you to anyone that took the time to read this whole thing. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. And finally to all, God bless and keep you in the days ahead, keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down and keep it between the ditches.
