My two least liked parts of the job...
While waiting for clocks to reset, try cleaning your windshield and applying a wax compound and buffing it off. I find a majority of the larger bugs get deflected before the splat and it is easier to clean while fueling. In the winter ice can not stick to the windshield either. I do that every three to four weeks, plus it counts towards my exercise.

Checking Hazmat Tire Pressure.
I drive hazmat everyday, I used to check every morning. After a few weeks the tires always looked the same, now I just kick for the thump and check if they look different (under inflated)

Iceless Coolers and 12V Coffee Makers
I personally went through 2 colemans in three months..went with Koolatron..no issues. As far as coffee, if you buy fuel regularly from same chain you get free coffee, buy enough fuel every month you get coffee and showers free, I haven't paid for coffee yet. I have a thermos and fill when its empty.

Where in KY are you located? I am in my final week (16 day course) in Shepherdsville. I absolutely enjoy the school I am in. Looked at many in and out of state, this one I happen to live less than 15 min away. The instructor's are all awesome. The classes never have more than 9 students, so each one receives ample drive and range instruction.

Entering Canada
Does any know for sure if entering Canada, as a U.S. based driver are allowed to follow Canadian HOS? I had a stop that took 12 hours hours to get to from KY, if I was able to change my elogs to Canadian HOS at the border I would have made it one day. I do understand it will still take a 10 hr break to get back. Anyone?
