Hair Foilcle tests are not DOT drug tests and not reported to the clearinghouse. Many companies use them as a pre employment test and that is reported on your DAC.

It is still a uphill battle but a SAP program is not required.

It was at the werner terminal. These people at the terminal said that this wasn't going to show on my record it was supposed to show voluntary leave so I'd still be eligible for rehire. I mailed an appeal letter hoping for a miracle, it's up to them if I ever drive again. There are no small companies in Florida that i can find that are willing to train. EVERYONE requires at least 3 months but now dac labeled me as not eligible for rehire. I can't believe roadmaster is misinformed about the dac report situation. It shouldn't be across all companies anyway that's absurd. Anyone here recommend cr England? I read lots of horror stories about them maybe they would be desperate enough to take me? Or if anyone has any small company suggestions?

Hello all, I'm writing to discuss a situation I'm dealing with that's really bad. I just got my cdl and well I tried to get with werner, being 6 months clean from using any substance i figured i was good to pass their drug tests. Well unfortunately i failed their hair test and was let go. But at the terminal the lady and the guy at the main terminal in Nebraska said that this was just going to go on my record as voluntary leave... Well unfortunately this was not the case,as they labeled it as involuntary. Now this has completely prevented me from finding any entry level jobs for some reason. I was not told by the school I went to (roadmaster) how serious hair test situation really is. It doesn't even mention that I was removed for failing a drug test it's just dismissed from training which could be anything really. I mailed a letter to appeal but I'm not really expecting anything. Anyone here can give me any advice? Even swift won't take me at this point. Is my career over before it started?
