I'm a recent graduate of my Class A License and I got a job interview for a job that I always wanted I used to work in the tree industry and was getting underpaid alot while taking trees off power-lines, I always wanted to work in the hazardous Industry and always seen this company "Clean Harbors" On the road all the time during my standby emergency calls .
I live in Central Connecticut, so finding high paying jobs with a CDL that involves environmental service work is difficult. Most of them are 30- hour away which is fine. Is the Commute worth it? I know it'll be amazing chance for my young self M(21) to get ahead and attend this interview and have a great living. This Job will pay 2.5x my old job literally. So Just wanted people opinions. I'm going from minimum wage to per diem, $2500 a week minimum postion.
