I was in an accident no major damage to the other truck(pick up truck) missing mirror cover and passenger fender damage. I signaled to indicate that I'm going to change lanes. I proceed to change lanes and while changing lanes the truck tries to speed around me to pass. I'm already committed to the lane so he slows down and I speed up and then he speeds up and my trailer took the mirror cover and caused fender damage. We pulled over and I looked at the damage and I didn't say anything but he admit he slowed down and flashed his light at me. I assume that he was letting me over since he flashed his lights. Overall a officer gave me a ticket for improper lane change and gave him a warning because his license was expired. I want to know how many points will be on my record and will this effect when I apply for another job? I'm not saying I'm going to get fired but just to get another job. I also waited a few seconds before I got so I didn't just abruptly changed lanes.

I have one preventable accident on my DAC. Back into a driver tractor with my trailer. Nothing major just a broken light that you use to hook up glad hands at night. So my question is will it be hard to get another job with a company because of that one preventable accident?

I was in a preventable accident today. I was backing in to a spot and my trailer hit another driver tractor. No major damage just the back of the tractor where I I'm assuming it's called a side wind deflector (I might be wrong). But my trailer hit that part of the truck. I only broke the light that shines toward the glad hands but that's it. I reported it to my company and it's a preventable accident. Will that go on my clearinghouse or just on my DAC. and will other companies see it?
