REALLY wanting this career, mental disorder (schizophrenia) may be a problem, help?

I want to become a driver and I have bi polar, will this automatically disqualify me? I do take one pill on a daily basis, and I still function normally. For me driving is a very calming activity and I love to drive, so are my chances to drive slim to none or do I possibly have a chance. Can someone please give me some advice. Thanks
