Older, over 50, and considering a career change and always wanted to drive over the road.
Question regarding the mental health questions for the physical. Between 2005 and 2011 off and on I saw a psychiatrist because being a helper and caretaker to a relative can be taxing. Of course I was given medications because that's what they do. I think they wrote down that I was depressed in my file and probably OCD they said. I didn't agree with any of this and eventually just stopped going and quit meds. There was never any manic episode or anything. I was just stressed out and sad sometimes living with someone who was very difficult. No big deal. How would I explain this to the person doing my physical? Some I've talked to say don't mention it at all. Others say if I don't and eventually am in a wreck or it's discovered any other way I'm out of the profession at best and possibly in criminal trouble for not disclosing seeing a mental health provider.
