Anyone work for FFE

I drive for FFE.....went thru their training 2 years ago....it was all manual trucks back then but i know some drivers are getting autos now

I have nothing bad to say about the training or the company...they keep me running and all is good

They do have a brand new school that recently opened at the terminal in south Dallas

Has anyone heard of KLLM Transport Services?

You mentioned contacting FFE.....its pretty much the same company

KLLM owns FFE

They have a school in Jackson and a brand new one at the terminal in Dallas

I'm in school now at Jackson, ms. So far I'm really impressed. Company trucks are goverend to 62-64mph but they are newer trucks, 2014-2016 and trailers are less that 3 years too.

Black Ice

Hit Black Ice a few days ago going 45...jack knifed and ended up stuck in the median with my trailer across a lane and a half

My trailer was empty and it was windy.....may have been part of the cause

Anyway.....Y.ALL BE CAREFUL out there....the road looked fine and cars were passing me right and left.........it happened in a split second and was the worse feeling ive ever had......knowing all i could do was hold on and ride it out.......luckily it was a flat area with no steep grades on either side of the road

Best company paid cdl training?

Research FFE.....they might only be hiring within Texas . not sure

Ive been with them a year and a half since going thru their school...not one complaint

They feed you breakfast and a great dinner each day and board you in a hotel / dorm

They take...NO....money out of your checks to pay for the training.....stay with them one year and your paid in full

6 months for Vets i believe

..and they just built and opened a brand new school at their terminal in Dallas
