Les G.'s Bio

I'm just sitting back and enjoying the Trucking Truth. I'm retired from an union freight co. I used to be a line hauler from terminals along east coast. So my good folks continue doing what your enjoying most. I'm amazed with your power units, the ones I had had no AC, Power steering, and you were lucky to have a tractor with 300 HP.

On a side note what does LCTC stand for? My first job that I start on the 4th is a flatbed job so that peaked my interest lol.

Thanks for your help

Load Check, Tarp Check is my guess, you have to stop occasionally and check the wind hasn't ripped a ring out or chafe sawn through a strap.

Ahhhh thank you.. Thank makes sense.

In my days of trucking the log page notation was "PTC" that is shorthand for pee and check tires. It would usually get a smile from that person checking the log.

Averitt Express on Tennessee US 231

A number of trucks have a dashboard full of garbage and many are driven by grimy looking slobs. Then along comes a sharp red Averitt truck with a clean-cut driver dressed sharply. Who do you think is more likely to get inspections and often times tickets?

But can't i do the same thing with my own sexy clothes.

you don't get it do you?
