This will be my first driving job. Its been a month since I got my cdl and been job hunting and finally chose them. I will actually be training but I get to come home every night.

I Recently graduated from school and got my class a cdl. I had a prehire with swift but 2 hours before I left they called me and told me that because of a medication I was on I could not be hired. I got my dot card and all. The company chose not to hire me because the medication was to help me continue with a problem I had because of surgery I had.

I am frustrated because my prehire was taken away and even more frustrated that I am having a time finding a job that isn't otr. And I may have to for a little while.

I have mine this coming Friday. Nov 28. I am nervous about the 90 and remembering the correct wording of things on pre trip under pressure. Then I have a prehire from Swift Transportation. I have to decide if in gonna take or not dedicated northmidwest route dollar General or family dollar where I unload my self. Pay seems to be great just hope it's not to good to be true!!!

I have been looking a suburban driving which is a private school and was told with 1800 down i would be able to get financed and got to work for any of the 60 companys the work with or should i find a company and go to one of there schools sign a year contract and be done with it?
