I can guarantee you, you'd make better money in training with prime, than you are right now.
I would use this as a valuable learnin experience, because you do not know it all. Never, ever stop learning.

Anybody know anything about Nationwide Transportation out of Omaha Nebraska?
They are a small company doing Midwest regional, reefer and dry van
I can't find out much about them and what I have found is dated (2012)
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

How often do you have to jump start?
I've only had to once. I usually am using cables to jump a dead or frozen reefer battery

I tell all my students this. " you are in charge of the GPS, not the other way round. "
As mentioned, it's just another club in the golf bag

The only one I've heard is " the black dog"
Supposedly, if you see a black dog three times in a short amount of time it means you're gonna die. J canel from you tube has a story about it.

Well it has been one year since I started this adventure, and it didn't disappoint. 2 coasts, 2 boarders, 1 moose, several memories and new friends.
I've found new vacation destinations and places I want to check out and found some good eateries.
I can't really think of anything that suprised me out here, I did my research well
Some things that I have learned.
1. Timing in everything( you can either whisk across the GW or painfully crawl)
2. Be nice to everyone, it costs you nothing.
3. Take care of yourself. You won't roll if you can't get out of your bunk.
4. Plan. Your breaks, your route, your stops, you maneuvers. Don't move the truck till you know where you want to go
5. Be careful. It's real easy to break things out here
As far as money I've essentially doubled my salary from what I was previously doing. I'll post the numbers in dec. when I have a full year for 2015.

Unions ...... Good or bad??
Youre dodging the question here, Brett. You listed income for top executives at non union companies. DSH69 asked what is the top executive pay for unionized companies, and for good reason.
I get it, youre a union guy, and ive talked to quite a few of guys like you, and I never get a satisfactory answer to this question.
ok, so lets say your the CEO of a major trucking company, you want driver pay to be raised, how do you do that? What polices can you cite that would guarentee increased driver pay? So, because were dealing with a corporation, we have a limited resource pool to draw from. What areas do you cut to insure drivers pay?
