My adventure from CA

This brings back memories. I grew up being a military brat. (My father was in the Air Force.) We had a 1966 VW Convertible which my dad moved us every four years from one end of the USA, to the other. The GOOD 'OL DAYS!!! No wonder I love driving!!!

Go/No go decision

I consult my WEATHER ROCK: weather-rock.png

Only thing that will stop me if the road is Closed. Other than that, I roll through Rain and Snow. I know my limits of my truck and myself. I'll pull over when I need to. No Load is worth dying for.

Need advise on a Truck GPS.

Since my current GPS gave up the Ghost. (Couldn't be the 3/4 million miles on it) I have been looking at Truckers Tablet . Company updated the Tablet hardware since I looked at them couple of years ago. The Navigation Software is designed for the trucking industry, you can edit vehicle, weight and size.

$230 a week? Is that possible?

Unless those drivers are "Problem Drivers" whine and complain about everything. I never heard a of a driver from Roehl getting paid that low. There's more to the story than what they are saying.

Using phone as hotspot for internet in the truck?

LOL, not THAT old! I'm 37 but have been somewhat of a Luddite over the past few years, especially when I see ppl falling down manholes because they are glued to their smart phones. I've heard of this tethering. So, I need a third party app to do this w/ my S4 Galaxy? What device gets the app install?

I use my Galaxy S4 as a mobile hotspot for my tablet. No 3rd party to teather. I don't watch videos, just mainly read, check e-mail, weather update and traffic condition. (Do my e-logs). I have 4 GB I share with my wife. I normally use about 3.5 GB per month. If I need to, for another $10.00 I could go 6 GB. How to MOBILE HOTSPOT the SAMSUNG GALAXY 4
