Is there any temporary CDL A work in Atlanta GA?

I'm considering shaking things up and moving to Atl from Tampa FL so I can get a decent paying be home daily/weekly company gig. I've been driving since 2014 and Have my own small, now down to one truck, MC doing mostly Dray work out of Charleston SC. I am just tired of living in my truck and I think this would be an easy expansion way to get insurance and company benefits as well as more home time for myself without having to reach into my own pocket for anything to do with the truck I'm driving. Does anyone know of any temp work in ATL that I might do while I figure out if I want to make this change? Is that even a thing? I just don't want to hire on with somebody and decide in a month that I don't want to do it after they went through the cost to hire me. I've been there and it sucks for the company.

Just had a preventable accident.

The ticket is for not slowing enough to avoid the accident. I've been told by the Trooper who wrote it and the lawyer handling it that when the insurance company takes care of it NC drops the ticket. My truck was towed and an ambulance was involved but nobody died or got cut out of a car. I've been driving since 4/14 and this is my only accident and no moving violations.

This happened in a CMV, correct? Any idea roughly how much damage? What type of accident? Rear end, backing? The biggest thing is when you talk to your safety department regarding it make sure you're honest, and tell them what you've learned. Typically those who get fired for accidents is due to distracted driving, too many in a short time or passing the blame to others.

I had a preventable accident but am probably not going to get a ticket, NC, only one in my 5 + years driving and no moving violations. How bad does this hurt me?

Getting a job while finishing SAP

I have been cleared and am 8 tests into a required 12. I'm probably going to buy a truck and stay with the company I'm driving for today becaus ethe companies that will hire me won't pay what I'm making now and it just seems easier to take the leap and go O/O.

Getting a job while finishing SAP

I am 8 months into a 12 month SAP program and the company I have worked at for the last 9 months has just dropped their company drivers to go all O/O. I have a good driving record with over 3 years OTR and will have a great reccomendation from this company, does anyone know of any good companies that will hire me as I finish this? I live in FL and don't have a problem staying out extended periods. They would love to keep me, runnng 3000+ mi a week on avg, but I have to buy a truck to stay here and am not sure I want to do that even though they have great routes.

Are these DOT accidents or just company reported DAC accidents?

Can anyone tell me anything about Cypress Truck Lines?

I have talked to a recruiter and the safety manager and I don't se any current people bashing the company online, rare these days for trucking companies. Can anyone tell me anything about them?
