Got word yesterday, due to inclimate weather, start date has been pushed back to March 9. Gets me two more weeks with my boys so I'm not too disappointed. Windchill was 20 below last night!!

Here we go boys and girls... Got my start date of Feb 23 for CDL school at Somerset CC in Somerset, KY!! Thanks to TT and Brett for the awesome information and all the folks that have taken the time to post in the forums. TT has positively influenced my decision to pursue a career in trucking after 30 years in healthcare. Can't wait to leave the corporate rat race and take charge of me. I plan a running post of my adventures and hope I can help the next future trucker as much as TT has helped me. Thanks again Brett. ~ GoCats

Sonny Pruitt/Movin' On and BJ & The Bear
You old guys are killing me!! I got the Movin On model kit for my 10th birthday in 1975... It was a Kenworth W 925 in emerald green.
Okay now you got my attention. This is not why I am joining the ranks of trucking but i do remember the show. It probably doesn't help that my dad also owned a trucking company. I really did look forward to this show each week when i was kid. I also liked the comparison of tv to the internet. Looking forward to starting my career with Prime next month.
Good luck!! Keep us posted...

It's Official !!!!
After a 2 week and 1 day delay I finally started CDL class today!! Spent the morning filling out the requisite paperwork and continued with the CDL manual and watching videos throughout the afternoon. Thanks to the High Road Training Program it was basically a review and reinforcement session. So far so good...
