Daniel, I have a couple questions for you. Im 21, single, no kids, and thinking about going with Prime Inc.. I will be taking their Sponsorship program. Im wondering how much money i need to take with me, what i would need to pack as in bedding and stuff of that sort, and basically all tha normal questions someone new to the trucking industry would have. Im not totally new to it due to the fact i grew up around trucking (father was a truck driver) but i still have the normal rookie questions lol. great thread by the way.

Whats up guys. My name is Joseph but yall can call me Joe. Im 21 and thinking about starting my truck driving career. My father started driving back when he was 17 (1967) and quit 2 years ago due to his health. I basically grew up in the truck (ages 2-13). Thats one of the reasons I wanna drive is because i grew up in and around trucking. I have pretty much made my mind up on going with Prime Inc.. I just want to hear from Prime drivers and or others who know about Prime. I am single with no kids therefore im thinking i can make alot of money from Prime. I do not have any work history. I do not have any driving violations or anything like that. Any info on Prime Inc. is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Thinking about Prime Inc.
I have no work history because there is not any jobs where i live. Ive applied and applied and applied. i did work at walmart for a week when i was 17 (after i graduated) but had to quit due to having to move back home for family reasons (my grandma and father). ive done under the table work such as remodeling, asphalt sealing, and Disaster clean up. But for the big gap of no work is all because i simply cannot get a job anywhere around here. Im going to call the recruiter later on today and talk to him/her about it.
