Another newbie question. sorry
Ain't that the truth! I started last Friday morning. Here's how this run went so far....left Indianapolis Friday morning 7am headed for French camp Cal . Got held over in Wyoming for 24 hours because I-80 was shut down. Went over Donner pass around 11 p . Then did toje? Pass. I know I spelt it wrong. Get into French camp, pick up an empty and head to Fontana Cali. Got to San Bernardino at rush hour. Not fun! Pick up a load there in Fontana and take 40 into Arkansas. Nice ride thru AZ. get to Arkansas last night. Dump the relay, wash the truck. Transflo, get an empty sleep a bit and pick up at fed ex and headed back to Cali now. So all in all its been good except that 100 miles starting at Laramie wy.

Hey Thumper - sorry it took so long to respond.
I've never heard of a limit to having the Jakes on. I've rode them hard down the longest, steepest grades in the country for years and never had the first concern and I've never heard of anyone having problems keeping them on. So as long as you're not detecting a problem of any sort you can use them all you like.
Awesome!! Thanks Brett. I'm in sleeper berth now headed back to Cali.

Just leaving Cali today . On my way in I did Donner pass, hit French camp then down to Fontana. When coming down these grades how long can I have the Jake on? I noticed that when the jb is on I get 0 mpg and my temp drops from around 200 to 170.

1st week of Schneider training finished!
Miscommunication. They do book your hotel but won't do it till your results come back.

I'm sure you are. I know I was!! It takes about ⁴ days to get the drug results back. If I remember correctly, they give you next available dates for orientation but don't book your hotel UNTIL the results come back. I'd just give them a call again tomorrow. Any recruiter can help you. GOOD LUCK!

yes, when you take your SQT's if you score a 25 or higher you have failed the road test.
