Training question: Female trainee with Male trainer
I would rather have a non-smoker as a trainer than a woman trainer. Not judging here, but I really have problems with smoke of all kinds.
. I will be okay with a male trainer. I would want someone who isn't cold nature cause I'm always hot, even if they smoke I can't deal with someone who is shivering cold while I'm sweating.. lol

Overweight but extremely mobile
Hi Charlie's Angels, I heard that Knight will pay you during training (those 3 weeks).
Thanks! I will look into that further.

Hey how is it going Bam Bam? How is Swift treating you? I plan on going there in a month or so.
Just like Cheryl, I too would love to hear some updates, and love the name BamBam. I am considering Swift or KLLM being that I am from Jackson, Ms. I'm 44 and weigh about 230 at 5'7" but my blood pressure been getting high lately. I have to cut back on all those high fat snacks. I plan on going in about 4 months because I need to wait for my tax refund to be able to not work for the 3 weeks at school

I love this site and really appreciate all the info and support here! My name is Trish and I'm studying for my CDL now ... just signed up with Stevens for school in Denver in October. Still not 100% sure about this decision but the more I learn about this career and talk to people, the more excited I get. I'm 47, newly "single" again and loving it ... looking forward to getting paid to see this beautiful country. Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the community on this site!
Welcome! I think this career is the best thing for us 40 something's especially, we that want to see this great ole USA.... Please keep us updated.
I'm in my 40's also and to me, we know what we want and have the maturity to handle things better in our 40's. My kids are older now so I am considering going to trucking school. I looking to start around March 2015
