Does Prime offer any alternatives to the "Dirty Dog" such as a plane ticket or a rental car to get to orientation?
I flew to Springfield for Prime for the 8/31 class. They will reimburse what they would have paid for a bus ticket for you to get here. For me this was well worth the extra bucks. No cool stories to tell, but it was 2.5 hrs versus 23 hrs on the dog. LOL.

My Expierience With Prime Training as a PSD
Day 6: Dec 19th
0700: Today is the day my Roommate left with his trainer after a week long waiting period to obtain a trainer. Again today started later as our class was not set to meet until 0800.
0800: We were supposed to have a SMITH class today but due to room constraints that class was moved to tomorrow at 0800 so from here till 0900 ish was downtime again.
0900: Meeting with Ms. Brook to do a quick roll call and advise of next meeting at 1045.
1045: Meeting and roll call with Ms Brook here is where we received our Driver Codes as well as our training Binders for OTR. Also we received our schedules for the next 2 weeks should we be here. Meeting dismissed with advised to be at the Millenium Training pad by 1300
1215-1245: Shuttle to Millenium training pad for Pretrip/Backing with Ray.
1300-1500: Pretrip and Backing with Ray. Folks it's wintertime so dress warm for this.
1500-End Of Night: Downtime. We had 3-4 people leave or arrange to leave with their trainers today. Hoping for more to leave or arrange to leave tomorrow into Sunday. I will update again as I get time. If you have any questions you can pm me.
When you say went home due to medical, what do you mean. What can cause you to be sent home due to medical.
Uncontrolled high blood pressure, uncontrolled blood sugar, vision or color blindness, failure to disclose that the scar running down your chest was from last year's heart attack, you are still on meds that are not approved for driving a CMV, Things like that.

The High Road Training Program is AWESOME!! Thanks.
Just a quick thanks to Brett and his staff for making the High Road Training Program available to everyone as well as keeping this site and forums up and running. I now have permit in hand and ready to go. I used this training program as well as the Trucking Truth Mobile App to quiz myself. I passed at DMV in record time, not just from knowing the right answer, but by actually having the knowledge to answer the questions correctly. Now I will return to it and study up on hazmat, logs, refresh, and keep fresh and continue to enrich my CDL training. This program really is THAT good. So, to all those contemplating their written portion, these tools, provided you actually work them, will help you immensely. Thanks again.
