Hey guys, I'm a new CDL student and will be getting my CDL in a few weeks. I have heard about 7-8 truck company recruiters by now but for some reason they all sound like a broken record. Anyone knows a good company to work for? I understand it depends on how I value a "Good" company, so for that valuation let’s just say that I don't care about home time much (only care that I can accumulate those "home" days and use them any time), I don't care much about benefits because they are all in the same ball park.
Truck driver is a hard job (way of life) and I want to be paid well doing it so I do care about pay and if the company makes it easy on me to make that load, if they work hard to get me loads, and if they make sure I'm not waiting for loads for a long time and have good trucks (inside and out) so I do not have to be worried about it breaking down on me.
Please let me know if you got any suggestion. Thank you for reading and responding!
