Exactly right, but cant always time deliveries, early am. Get a pickup afternoon, have to really drive until well past midnightThe only time I've had "problems", and they aren't problems, is with 4-6pm times. Other than that, I'd rather watch the sunrise.
I love driving nights, but have to take into consideration, weather, area, available truck stops and delivery times. Dont want to make it to Chicago right at 8am..do ya?

My short Journey with Schneider is over -- I am the fool
Little advice driver,in the future, just ask the yard jockey for help, give him $5-$10 for helping you out. Makes a great impression.

This is why I love to drive starting around midnight - 2am. When your day is done, you pull into any truck stop, pick any spot, and pull through!
Early afternoon you can have a football game on the parking lot.
Exactly right, but cant always time deliveries, early am. Get a pickup afternoon, have to really drive until well past midnight. Fun trying to find parking at 2am,plus all the bears are out..although dui is usually what their looking for..but they will write up an easy violation,if they see one.

Some walmarts have signs stating no parking but.If you politely ask the manager,to park for 10 hours, they rarely say no. Calling first is also an option.

Walmart is your best friend, when running out of hours at night. Driver safety is important. Lots of robberies,at rest areas after dark. Most walmarts are 24 hours, and have cameras and security personal.

If its that important, you just alternate home time, the other driver continues solo, while the other driver takes his home time or.. Split the cost of extra fuel between the two drivers. I doubt many companies are going to let you burn a whole tank of fuel, dropping off team mate, driving home, then driving back.
