Sundowner's Bio

I am a late 2nd generation driver 2014 graduate from sage tech school in Missoula, MT. From 9 to 18 I spent my summers with my dad delivering freight locally to the mom/pop, red/white, 7-11s stores from Davenport to Des MOINES, Dubuque and back and I loved it. My dad went over the road when I was 14. I went every chance I was given. My 18th birthday came along and like most I thought I knew more than most left home worked hard partied way too much as a roofer, traveling across the U.S. storm chasing and getting into trouble. YOU KNOW when u scrapped it out over a 25 cent pool game, or some wandering girlfriend, etc. when it was over u made new friends, not a stay at a local hotel hell. I am no angel, have a few dents n dings some I am not proud of. Live n learn move on . The outdoors is where i spend my free time from skipping rocks, running my labs anything outside. I have 4 months exp hauling bakery ingredients from. M.T to L.A and picking up wine in northern Cali for back haul. Loved the run.

Sage Truck Driving School

Has anyone attended Sage Truck Driving School in Henderson, Colorado. I have been researching this school and have only found bad things. I would like a realistic review from someone who is out on the road. Any information would be appreciated.

I attended sage un missoula mt. It was fine. All the trainers were very good. I attended during the winter of 2013 .

Your success is ALL about YOUR attitude!

If this poor person had made it to a solo position and been fed all the crap like misinfo like wrong directions, phone numbers, offload times for months i might mind you have some understanding, however i highly doubt this person could do anything but complain wherever he goes.

Cdl training at sage missoula mt

I went to Sage in Missoula M.T. I started in December of 2013 finished in 01/2014. I pulled my camper down to school saved me tons of money and took my showers at the truck stop 100 yards away. They let me plug in my camper so I was set up ready to learn, study without any distractions. Terry is the lead instructor, Amy Zen is the admin. They will make your time there invaluable as will all of there instructors. They have three trucks, peterbuilt , mack , freightliner 13,10 speeds. You will drive all of them. Do maintenance on all and have access to them after classroom studies to do pretrips and so on. They laugh with you when you things wrong and you will. Terry will not let u fail at their expense, if u feel u r not ready to take the test he will do everything in his power to help SUCCEED. THEY ALL WILL.
