I wear my belt religiously I even harp on my children constantly about them wearing their seatbelts. And here's stupid me this morning when to get a gallon of milk at leave the parking lot to drive home and I for some silly reason I totally forgot to click it and sure enough Florida Highway Patrol at a traffic light looked over tooted his horn and made me pull over. Right now I'm kind of waiting a couple more months saving a little bit of money in the bank before I decide to make a jump in to become a truck driver and I'm a little worried because I have the seatbelt ticket that's going to be on my record now and wondering will this have a big impact on me trying to get into a company to drive for??? Other than just this seat belt violation I have no tickets. I guess I could hire an attorney and take you to court but I don't know if it really make a big difference

I got certified myself by going to a Third-Party-State-Examiner to take the test after going to the driver's licence office to take the CDL tests. I did not see myself being able to afford the truck school tuition. I had no idea that some truck companies would of paid for my training back when I first started. The road I took, doesn't teach me things of over the road stuff / weight stations / etc.... What should I do at this point? Should I just start over and go to one of these schools?............ Thank you for any and all input.........
