Considering Schneider

I've been driving for Schneider for two months now. Dry van. Everything they promised, they've delivered on. I am sure many other companies do this as well, but for me, Schneider has been exactly what they promised and a little better than what I expected.

Good luck!

Thanks all for the feedback. It is good to hear that they are living up to your expectations. We are looking forward to this new adventure and everything that goes along with being rookies. Together, my wife and I should be able to give each other the support we most certainly will need to hopefully get over the hump during our first year.

Considering Schneider

We will be doing dry box I'm sure. I'm more interested in their performance or keeping of their word than anything else. From the sound of what you said, so far so good. Good luck and drive safe.

My wife and I are about to jump into team driving. I'm looking for anyone's experiences and advice. I'm most curious about team time management.

Drive safe.

Entry level team drivers

My wife and I are about to start our training at a school in SoCal that is listed on this site. I have talked to a recruiter at Schneider. I know it was just a recruiter but I like what I heard. I like that once we sign up for our training and apply with them that they will monitor our progress. And when we complete our training and have our CDLs in hand that they will train us TOGETHER for 17 days without separating us before putting us out on our own. Does anyone out there have any experience with Schneider in a similar situation?

We have been doing a great deal of research. We are going into this with our eyes wide open. It seems that the first steps are the most difficult. We know that we will need to do at least a year before we consider moving to a better company if we are not happy with Schneider. It sounds like the big companies are good places to get that experience.
