Beginner here

I'll soon be embarking on a new career as a truck driver. I'll be starting school at ATS/DTDS in Sun Prairie WI in May. Anyone ever gone to this school, hear anything good or bad? Also, Will it be a good idea to read and study CDL training guides even though ill be learning what i need in school? I just want to be the best prepared when i start and not be behind.
