Walked away

I was to start with a Company to get my CDL training. I showed up In class on Sunday intake day after being awake 36 hrs straight mind you I just couldn't sleep on the bus. Then straight into a physical drug screen and agility test first thing. But chose to walk away on Monday as I didn't feel right with this company's way of doing things. See on Sunday we were already given the contract to sign it was signed as it had to be by the end of the day. According to the typed language in the contract I had 6 days to void out the contract. What I want to know, am I able to check out other companies. CR ENGLAND entered QUIT on the loan/schooling.

Too Sick to drive

It's happened to all of us at one time or another, but when one falls ILL WITH the flu or explosive diarrhea episodes-every 5 minutes etc obviously too sick to drive and you have a HOT LOAD/time sensitive to deliver, what's the best remedy for this situation. Especially With some OTC medicines that could make you operate 'under the influence'. sorry.gif

Driver trainers

I'm starting with Cr England soon and want to know... What are your pet peeves or rules that you want to tell your TRAINEES? You see as we all have been through IT, I will be riding with my trainer learning the industry and don't want to feel I'm invading his/her personal space

Making the move to drive SEMI trucks

I am jumping onto the bandwagon of becoming a CLASS A driver, I will be starting school with a company April 20th, while I know the lifestyle changes that comes along with the job, I've been a CLASS B bus operator 22yrs accident free, I am ready! 1. weird question Ummm, how does a person wash their DISHES/George foreman crookpots etc, I mean do you take them in the shower with you or do trucks come with a water tanks? 2: DRIVER TRAINERS: what is your advice towards your trainees and while it's my turn to become a trainee I don't want to feel like I'm invading his personal space as we'll be a team operation while training. Any pet peeves that you have like rules, lol, I did read in the company handbook that states sexual arousal is not allowed while running as a team, the problem is my 'spark plug' is healthy yet.
